In Bentley OpenUtilities Designer and Bentley OpenUtilities Map, the Standard Data Model defines gas maintenance records as ordinary GIS features.

• Gas Field Operation Records (and Gas Field Operations Records, Pipe Line Markers, Measuring Points, and Flow Controllers) can be associated to assets by setting the Asset ID field to the Asset ID of the feature to which they are related.
• Gas Distribution Area () can be used with Spatial Analysis operations to identify related features.
